Overview

I worked with a cruise company on a potential project, I started by understanding the company's business goals and objectives. I asked questions such as:

What kind of experience does the company want to provide to its customers?

 

Who is the target audience for the product?

 

What features and functionalities are most important to the customer?

Based on the answers to these questions, I developed a strategy for the product lifecycle and project timeline. This involved creating a roadmap that outlined the key milestones and deliverables for the project. I worked with the cruise company to prioritize the most important features and functionalities in each stage of the project.

Overall, my role as a designer was to help the company achieve their business goals by providing strategic guidance and ensuring that the design was implemented effectively. By working closely with the cruise company and development team, I helped ensure that the project could be delivered and within budget, while also meeting the needs of the target audience.

Future Vision

Proposed a future cruise experience that will provide significant business value. By offering innovative and technologically advanced features this cruise company can attract a wider range of customers, including tech-savvy millennials and eco-conscious travelers.

User Journey

Created a personalized journey of a user planning a cruise which begins with researching and selecting a cruise line and itinerary that matches their preferences, such as destination, budget, and activities. They may then use online tools and resources to explore cabin options and book their trip, and receive personalized recommendations and offers based on their preferences and past behavior. On the cruise itself, the user can enjoy personalized services such as in-cabin dining and entertainment, as well as activities and excursions tailored to their interests. They may also provide feedback and ratings on their experiences, which can be used to further personalize their journey. Cruise service has the ability to track the users activity and be able to act pro-active to improve the overall cruise experience for the customer.

Mobile Design

I created a collection of mobile designs for the offline cruise application that prioritizes user personalization to enhance the cruise experience. The app features an intuitive user interface that makes it easy for users to personalize their journey. The app also offers personalized recommendations and offers based on the user's preferences and past behavior, allowing them to tailor their experience to their liking.

Results

We won the cruise line deal with the future vision and plan for implementation. Ultimately this will lead to increased customer loyalty, higher revenues, and improved brand reputation. Additionally, this can differentiate themselves from competitors and create a unique selling proposition in the highly competitive cruise industry.
